How do I book?
Head over to our enquiry form and fill in as much info as you can provide (don’t worry if its just estimated numbers or you only have a rough idea of a date) and we will check availability and get back to you as soon as possible.
What time will my Afternoon Tea / Platter be delivered?
Unless arranged otherwise we deliver all our products in the morning, aiming to have all deliveries made by 12:30. We will be in touch the day before with a time slot and delivery info for you. Unfortunately, we are unable to send out time slots before this time. If you have a specific time you require delivery for please advise us at booking.
Please note this does not include large Afternoon Teas, Grazes and large Platter orders which we work with your schedule for delivery and set up.
Do you charge for delivery and what areas do you cover?
We cover large parts of Essex, with all SS postcodes free of charge (the only exception of this is if we are delivering to zoom parties) and can cover most CM and RM postcodes with a charge. Check our delivery page for more information.
Can you deliver to further afield?
Yes, we can for larger bookings (ie. larger Afternoon Teas, Graze Tables and buffets). We consider Braintree, Colchester, Harlow, & Dartford areas with charges. Drop us a message through our enquiry form to see if we can travel to your area. (Unfortunately, we cannot travel out of area for Afternoon Teas under 30 guests, Platters and Graze boxes)
Do you cater for allergens?
Yes, we can but we handle lots of different ingredients at The Party Kitchen HQ so can not assure there is no risk of cross contamination. Get in touch with us and we will let you know if and how we can help.
I am vegan, can you cater for me?
Yes, we do, our Afternoon Teas can now be adapted to a vegan version and lots of our Platter range is great to cater for vegan guests at a party.
How much notice do you need to place a booking?
We can often take bookings for small Afternoon Teas and Graze Boxes with a few days’ notice (subject to availability for that date). For larger bookings we need at least two weeks’ notice. But please note we often get dates fill up months in advance, so it is always best to check a date asap.
Which Afternoon Tea is suitable for my 12-year-old?
We recommend booking an adult Afternoon Tea for teens and hungry pre-teens, we are happy to make sandwiches and sausage rolls plain for them if preferred. Our children’s afternoon tea is perfect for younger primary school and pre-school children. We also provide a baby/toddler option so the little ones can join in on the fun (and not steal your cake!)
Do you offer a setting-up service?
Absolutely, our larger bookings come with this included, so if you have booked a large afternoon tea, Graze Table or have created a large buffet with our platter range we will be happy to lay it all out ready for you just before the party starts. If you have smaller order we offer lot so of options to still create a stunning table of food with our tablescaping service which we have can do for all our services.
